'Anatomical Study'

This fineliner pen anatomical study is directly inspired by the medical illustrations depicted within ‘Gray’s Anatomy’, which has influenced many artists (most notably Basquiat). Here, I push the boundaries of mark making with the pen to create a work which enthrals the viewer with the depth of the tones created in this somewhat ominous piece.
